This is a great recorder for those solo jobs. It's small enough and light weight to carry around with you. It features 32 bit float recording, 4 XLR channels, and wireless control via Bluetooth. It's not a perfect recorder by any means -- the noise handling it's quite noticeable. However, having a dedicated grip mount will help minimize it. This recorder delivers professional sound quality, and for a quick and practical set up – this is definitely a winner especially at the current price tag of $389! (originally $499 when it was released).

Pros: great price, professional sound quality, and quiet preamps.

Cons: handling noise is not the best, detachable xy microphones feel cheap that could potentially damage easily, menu could be more intuitive, and only Atomos devices can sync timecode with this recorder. It would be great to see other manufacturers like Tentacle Sync compatible with this recorder.
